Phoebe Thompson

Phoebe Thompson is a composer and arranger based out of Connecticut. Currently, she is a student at the University of Connecticut, studying Music Composition under Dr. Kenneth Fuchs. She is a member of the UConn Chamber Singers and Concert Choir, under the direction of Dr. Jamie Spillane. She also serves as President of the UConn-Composer-Ensemble-Collaboration (UCEC). Phoebe is a graduate of Plainfield High School, where she sang in the chamber choir and played flute in the marching and concert band. 

Her piece, Gaia, was recently performed by the UConn Chamber Singers at their concert, “Rebirth and Renewal”. Phoebe also recently composed the musical score for a short film titled Crossing the Line, by fellow UConn student Danny Hynes.
